So they come: To hang out:

Small interior bar, dark, with separate pool table area. You could more space on their outdoor patio, the bar, had patrons all the way up until 3:50am closing at 4am: Visited on the Drag show night a Saturday night.

Better Than Nothing

This bar, on a not so easy to find side street in a sketchy part of town is currently the only gay bar in Atlantic City. Formerly there was the Pro Bar in Resorts which had nice views from a high floor but outrageously overpriced drinks. The Rainbow Room is worth the effort to find, but don't expect anything special. It's essentially a no frills "dive bar." The drink prices are reasonable and the bar tenders are friendly. I found the place to be not very clean, no food is served (at least not when I was there) and the local clique appeared to ignore out-of-towners like myself.

Fun

I went to the Rainbow Room Sunday night. It's just like the gay bars in Atlantic City used to be...well, maybe a little cleaner...but with a vaguely sketchy atmosphere. It was fun, with go-go boys circulating and shirtless bartenders. It seems small but that's part of the cozy appeal.

Fun local hang out

Atlantic City's newest bar is a fun hang out to meet up before and after going to the casinos.
